April is the Saddest Month

On the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, a day before the anniversary of the Columbine killings and still reeling from the horrible events at Virginia Tech I tried to think of happy events that occurred in April. I couldn't think of anything, but that's why we have "the Google." I didn't find much to be happy about, but here are three things:

1934 - Shirley Temple appears in her 1st movie, "Stand Up and Cheer"

1956 - Grace Kelly marries Monaco's Prince Rainier III

1967 - "Casino Royale" premieres (featuring Woody Allen as "Jimmy Bond")

I was going to say “What about...?” but then I realized, you’re right.
