W: Not the Magazine, The List

The astoundingly amazing Conversation Agent herself, Valeria Maltoni, wrote a nice piece on Monday about the Powerful PR Ladies and decided to add a few additional writers and kindly included me. Now that list has moved on and been expanded by Krishna De (in Irleand) and Tiffany Monhollon in (OKC!)

The is list called the "W" List for Women Who Write (or Women Who Blog.) There is some powerful insight available by clicking on the links. I'm happy to add a few names myself.

I credit Heather Armstrong of Dooce as the reason I started writing - and not for the "if she can do it, I can do it" reason, but because she is a soulful writer. And she cracks me up.

Anjali has written the Giant Jeans Parlour since 2003, but she's been blogging from Japan for two years while she went on a teaching assignment. She's traveling right now as part of her return trip to Los Angeles. Check out Japanese Candy Fridays and you'll be hooked too.

Megan Garnhum brings us the shopping love at A Girl Must Shop - and we both like chocolate. A lot. We'll co-author a martini & chocolate aquisition trip in the very near future.

My talented Age of Conversation co-author (and co-worker) Ryan Barrett writes the Cheap Thrills blog. This gem puts her in my faves: Interests - Writing, dancing... and finding most everything funny.

I salute all of the fabulousness on this list and blush at my own inclusion, but as you surely know - chicks rock. Chicks who write rock harder.

Thank you so much for spreading the list! I saw the collective 'sphere hold its breath when I pulled the "W" word. I was curious to see if this list would take off ;-) I'm glad to see that it is and that many take it in the spirit it was intended: to draw some deserved attention to great writers who sometimes are not as self-promotional.

.. and some "divas" rock in style (smile). Appreciate the add to women who are doing great work in social media. Valeria is right .. and are not getting the recognition they well deserve.

You are so stylish, in everything you do! Thanks for promoting and expanding this wonderful list of talent. It's such an honor to be surrounded by such beauty, style and competence.

You have a beautiful blog!

And thanks for publishing the W-List, which I'm also blushing to be included on.

(And I was recently thinking, er, blogging, that I should pick up a fashion magazine every once in a while. Now I know I can come here!)

Be well.

I'm so flattered to be included -- thank you! (Sorry it took me so long to catch on, but as you probably know, I'm catching up with life in general at the moment.)
