Fashion For a Cause

Because Megan Garnhum of A Girl Must Shop and I are on a Fashion Week roll, we attended the "Dress for a Cause" fashion event hosted by Boston designer Sara Campbell at the Boston Harbor Hotel. The event was a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (started by Evelyn Lauder) whose critical fundraising supports 115 cancer researchers.

The models were: Survivor Cathy Cleary Frank, Nurse Bonnie J. Dirr, Survivor Lauren Foster, Survivor Susan Hanley, Survivor Michelle High-McKinnon, Survivor Mary Hines, Nurse Judi Hirschfield-Bartek, Survivor and breast cancer surgeon Carolyn M. Kaelin, Survivor Julie Kamin, Survivor Jane Lammers, Survivor Sandy Krakoff, Survivor and physician Julie Silver, Survivor and WCVB-TV news anchor Kelley Tuthill. (And a few special guests from Dynasty Models...) Below are a few of my favorite snaps - the rest are in my Flickr set.

Friends Nancy Jane Duncan, Liz Chace and Karen Bolger were in attendance!

Meg with a piece of cute, cute, cute! swag - a silver metal purse keychain with a mirror inside. Love it! Thanks for the invite Meg!
