That time of year

While not in love with valentine's day as a concept - I do love this vintage French valentine card - what with the flames and arrows and bemused look of "Did I do that?" The best part of valentine's comes tomorrow - when all the candy is half price. Go be good to yourselves and don't fall for the nonsense.

Serendipity is a propensity for making fortunate discoveries while looking for something unrelated. I'm road testing this to decide if it will be added to the line-up.

The REAL New Snow-Meter

Thank goodness I invested in a six foot tall Shepherd's Crook to keep the bird feeder away from the squirrels! This winter has made life so much easier for them, not having to jump from the Rhododendrons to the feeder - just walk right up and instant service!  Isabel the Cat is fully entertained, so there's that.
